Samsung Galaxy Note 10 And Note 10 Plus Quick facts

  • No headphone jack – After Apple ditched the 3.5mm jack, Samsung insisted that it will continue to make good flagships without taking away this port from the user. They have now decided otherwise.
  • Punch-hole display – The Galaxy Note 10 has a punch-hole cutout near the top of the screen, in the middle. This hole house the front-facing snapper.
  • Slimmer, lighter design – Samsung Note 10 is generally slimmer and lighter than its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 even though it has a larger screen.
  • No Bixby button – Samsung has removed the Bixby button. Long pressing the sleep/ wake button is the new way to activate Bixby.
  • S Pen Stylus – As with preview note devices, the Galaxy Note 10 comes with an S-pen stylus. This pen has new features and the app has been improved. The improvements should make the new notes more appealing.
  • Cameras improvements – The Note 10 comes with a triple-lens rear camera consisting of a Telephoto lens, a wide-angle lens, and an ultra-wide lens.
  • Under display fingerprint scanner – The fingerprint scanner is now in-display, just like in the latest Samsung S series phones. There is no Iris scanner.
  • DeX improvements – Samsung recently teamed up with Microsoft to include Office apps in Note 10. These apps have been integrated with Dex, making it possible to share files between the Galaxy Note 10 and a PC or Mac. The user no longer needs a dedicated monitor. Instead, DeX allows users to use both PC or Mac apps with Note 10 applications alongside each other.
  • Fast wireless charging 2.0 – The first time this was witnessed was on the Samsung Galaxy S10.
