Samsung A70 and Samsung A30 have received new software updates.  The two are part of the new Samsung Galaxy A series phones that are very popular in Kenya and all over the world.

The firmware for the A70 has the number A705GMODM2AF4 and is around 470MBs in size. It aims to improve the performance of the touch-display and on-screen fingerprint scanner.

Firmware for the A30, on the other hand, bears the number A305GNDXU2ASE5 and it’s approximately 645MBs in size.

We don’t know when these updates will reach the users of both phones in Kenya.

Samsung Galaxy A70 features a 6.7 inches display with a screen resolution of 1080 pixels by 2400 pixels. It runs on Android v9.0 pie with Samsung’s custom one UI operating system. QUALCOMM’s Snapdragon 675 powers the device and it has 6GB of RAM.  It has an under-display fingerprint scanner and triple lens back camera with a 32 megapixels lens, an 8 megapixels lens and a 5 megapixels lens.  The front camera is 32 megapixels.  The battery powering this device packs 4500mAh has 128GB onboard storage space.  

Samsung Galaxy A30 comes with a 6.4 inches screen with 1080p by 2340p resolution. It runs on Android v9.0 Pie out of the box and is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 7904 Octa processor.  This device has 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage space. At the time of writing, it is considered as one of the best phones below 20K in Kenya.  It has a rear mounted scanner and 4000mAh battery pack.  For photography, it is equipped with dual lens 16 megapixels + 5 megapixels camera and a single 16 megapixels selfie camera.
