Nokia 3.2 is the newest member of the list of budget phones in Kenya. Nokia officially launched the 3.2 with 16GB storage into the Kenyan market. The recommended retail price is KSh. 13,999. It comes a few weeks after it was announced in 2019’s MWC.
Nokia 3.2 will no doubt be one of the most popular budget phones in the country. It will compete effectively with the likes of Samsung A10. Tecno Spark 3 Pro, Huawei Y5 2019 and other popular affordable phones launched in 2019 by other manufacturers.
This smartphone comes with a 6.26 HD display with a dew-drop notch. It is equipped with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage space. This may be a little disappointing to some people since there are a few phones in its price range that have 3GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage space. Fortunately, the company said that it will be giving a 16GB memory card to everyone who buys the device.
Like other affordable Nokia phones, this smartphone has an impressive battery. It is powered by a massive 4000mAh battery with fast charging support. According to HMD Global, this battery can power the device for up to 2 days.
As far as the cameras are concerned, it features a 13 megapixels camera at the back and a 5 megapixels front facing shooter.
Nokia 3.2 has a good number of other interesting features, including Google Assistant button and a notification light embedded on the power button.
Like all phones we have seen since Nokia made a comeback, you get a pure Android experience. You should expect regular software updates directly from Google.
It’s a little disappointing that Nokia 3.2 lacks a fingerprint scanner. All its competitors have fingerprint scanners. Nevertheless, it is still one of the best cheap smartphones you can buy in Kenya right now.
