The Honor 8S has been launched in Russia after it was leaked a few days ago.  This phone succeeds the Honor 7S, one of the most popular budget phones from Honor that was released last year.  It comes with 5.71-inch dewdrop screen with a resolution of 720p by 1520p resolution.

Honor 8S is powered by MediaTek MT6765 SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM and has 32GB onboard storage space.  It has a microSD card slot that allows cards of up to 512GB.

The 8S is equipped with a 13 MP rear shooter accompanied by an LED flash and has a 5 MP front-facing camera. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with EMUI 9.0 on-top.  It is fueled by a 3020mAh battery.

Price of the Honor 8S in Russia starts at RUB 8,490. This translates to around KSh. 13,000. It will take a few weeks before this phone is available in the country. Three colors are available: Black, Blue, and Gold.
